Can we highlight our company (Featured Listing) on your website?
The initial website format is set up on a first come first served basis, ultimately the Main Contractors will be able to rank contractors based on performance, etc. this will no doubt form its own highlighting system. Further website developments and enhancements may offer opportunities for specific trades, products and companies to advertise and feature at particular times of the year.
What if my contact details change?
A major benefit of this site to the Main Contractors is the fact that the contact details are correct and up to date, if you have a change to your details you can update at any time using your unique login and password, (More details can be found here on editing your listing) should we receive feedback from the Main Contractors that your details require updating and this is not taking place, we will contact you directly to assist in any way we can.
What if we get enquiries that we are unable or do not want to price?
From my experience a quick polite email sent as soon as possible to the enquirer will be enough overcome any negativity on their side, the sooner they know the position the sooner they can make alternative arrangements.
What if I receive the same enquiry from multiple Main Contractors?
I would assume that you will issue the same quotation to all that request it, however it is up to you if you wish to offer a better price to a Main Contractor that has a beneficial commercial arrangement with yourself, it’s your choice.
Not all Main Contractors ask us to price the same element of the works, e.g. Ceilings only and not Drylining both elements we carry out for numerous Main Contractors?
Most Main Contractors will consider quotations for trades such as Ceilings and Partitions combined, if fact quite often this produces the most cost effective method of procurement for them. If they have only requested one trade and you are aware of a requirement on a particular contract it is probably due to the fact that they have little knowledge of your company’s abilities, this is one aim of this web site to build a consistent knowledge base that they can trust and then becomes their first port of call when assessing who to contact for quotations.
